Hippocrates of Cos was a ancient Greek physician. he is known as one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine. He is also referred to as the father of western medicine. in recognition of his lasting contributions to the field as the founder of the Hippocratic School of Medicine.

William Harvey was an british physician. He was the very physician first to describe completely in detail the systemic circulation and properties of blood being pumped to the brain and body by the heart.

Edward Anthony Jenner was an british physician and scientist from Berkeley, Gloucestershire. who was the inventor of smallpox vaccine.

Joseph Lister was known as Sir Joseph Lister.between 1883 and 1897 was a British surgeon and a inventor of antiseptic surgery. By applying Louis Pasteur's advances in microbiology. he promoted the idea of clean surgerys.

Louis Pasteur was a French chemist and microbiologist. he is known for his discoveries of the principles of vaccination  microbial fermentation and pasteurization. He is remembered for his remarkable breakthroughs in the causes and preventions of viruses.

Robert Heinrich Herman Koch. He was the founder of modern bacteriology. And is known for his role in identifying the specific causative agents of tuberculosis, cholera, and anthrax and for giving experimental support for the concept of infectious disease.

Major Walter Reed  was a U.S. Army physician. He led the team that confirmed the theory of yellow fever.


Gregor Johann Mendel was a German-speaking Silesian scientist. He was also a  Augustinian friar who gained posthumous fame as the founder of the new science of genetics.
